Congratulations to the other Christopher Miller of Spago Beverly Hills who just passed the Master Sommelier Exam in Texas. I know only too well the sacrifice and efforts that are required to pass that exam.

Christopher S. Miller has been the sommelier for The 21 Club, The American Hotel (Sag Harbor) and consulted as a sommelier for 75 Main (Southampton) and The Stone Creek Inn (East Quogue). Trained at the Culinary Institute of America and in Europe, his experiences also include Chef-Owner of a four-star restaurant and Saucier Chef at a four-star hotel in Switzerland. Currently Christopher is an Advanced Sommelier and a Master Sommelier Candidate in the Court of Master Sommeliers program.

As a wine educator, Christopher has held the position of Wine Education Manager for Winebow Inc. and consulted on educational programs for Charmer Industries, Corterra Wines, Martin-Scott Wines and is currently the Wine Educator and internet content provider for Sherry-Lehmann Wine Merchants and for Hamptons Wine Club .


Christopher is a Director for the The Sommelier Wine Academy, on the Board of Directors for the Stony Brook Center for Wine, Food and Culture, writes the from the vine for The Long Island Pulse and Senior Wine Writer for Dan's Papers.

Christopher has developed many tools for educating and learning about the many great wine regions of the world.
